Jeff and the Dormie Workshop team, alongside Tim Foster from Halifax-based Dose Media, approached Domaine Studio for a custom Shopify-themed e-commerce site to represent their high-quality leather accessories as they expanded into the US. Dormie needed a site that reflected their brand’s premium quality and maintained the high level of customer service their clients expect in both Canada and the US. We combined our Shopify expertise with Dose Media’s design to perfectly complement the Dormie Workshop brand.
The Domaine Studio team created customized solutions that enhanced Shopify’s out-of-the-box features while minimizing the need for additional apps and integrations. This resulted in a seamless user experience, improving order efficiency, mobile compatibility, and navigation. With a beautiful layout, functional design, and improved accessibility, Dormie Workshop’s new Shopify platform reflects the brand’s high quality and professionalism, with a touch of personality.
With Dose Media’s design, Domaine Studio provided Dormie Workshop with advanced layouts for maximum visual impact, including custom overlays in the collection header, a featured product block, and a blog video/article section on the homepage. We leveraged Shopify Theme Sections to ensure that any staff member, not just content experts, could manage the site. Additionally, we updated the PDPs with new descriptions and implemented a custom tagging process to enable color filters in the design.
