Conslidating DTC & B2B sites for online organic produce

Row 7 Seeds partnered with Domaine Studio to unite its direct-to-consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) websites on one consolidated Shopify site, as they were previously hosted on separate platforms. The outcome was a beautifully merged DTC and B2B site built on a customized version of a Shopify theme.

Developing 2 custom PLP templates

The new Row 7 Seeds website was designed to separate direct-to-consumer seeds and vegetables only available at select retailers into distinct product listing pages. Two tailored product description pages (PDPs) were created for each offering. Both PDPs provide extensive product details, including drop-downs for recipes and how-to guides. The seed PDP offers standard add-to-cart functionality, while the vegetable PDP links to retailer or Whole Foods locations. Additionally, the vegetable PDPs link back to the seed PDPs, encouraging customers to try growing their own produce.

Store Locator Designs

Improving product accessibility with a new store locator

Customers looking to purchase Row 7 Seeds pre-grown vegetables can now easily find their nearest stockist with the new store locator, integrated into the Vegetable PDP using the StoreRocket app. While it currently highlights Whole Foods locations, the feature is highly customizable and adaptable as wholesalers and stockists evolve. To further the brand’s mission of making locally-farmed food more accessible, the store locator can eventually include restaurants featuring Row 7 produce and nearby farms that stock the brand’s vegetables.

Telling stories & sparking imagination with a recipe blog

The Domaine Studio team implemented a blog page within the existing theme, featuring a growing recipe collection that highlights Row 7 Seeds’ unique vegetables. Like the wholesale vegetable page, the recipes link directly to the seed PDPs, allowing customers to easily purchase seeds for the vegetables featured in the recipes. This blog serves as a dedicated space for storytelling and adding context to Row 7 Seeds’ curated vegetable selection.

"We couldn't have been luckier to work with Tyler and the team at [Domaine Studio] over these past months to launch the new Row 7 site. We were up against a last-minute press deadline for a feature in the New York Times, so our web deadline became even more critical at the eleventh hour. [Domaine Studio] rose to the occasion with great patience and professionalism, taking every curve ball with understanding and a can-do attitude."
