Migrating from headless to Shopify 2.0
Paravel enlisted Domaine to migrate its headless ecommerce website to Shopify 2.0; high-priority components of the project included simplifying the admin experience while retaining the flexibility Paravel needed. At the same time, we implemented a suite of new features designed to make the shopping experience simple and smooth for customers.
Travelers can now purchase sustainable, personalized luggage from Paravel thanks to Domaine’s integration of Global-e. Customers enjoy discounts on bundles, making it easy to gear up for their next adventure. Paravel’s team is also equipped with top-tier bundle tracking and reporting to better understand and serve their international customer base.
Many of Paravel’s products can be monogrammed, allowing customers to personalize their purchases with letters or emojis. To support this, the Domaine team collaborated with Paravel’s warehouse and ERP software, Brightpearl, to ensure personalization details were communicated effectively. This built-in redundancy and order tagging streamlined the process, creating a smooth and simplified user experience.
Shoppers can easily learn about Paravel’s values and sustainable practices on the site. A new content hub is also in development to educate customers on eco-friendly travel and sustainable luggage. The hub will feature creatively designed article pages and a refreshed blog, making the extensive content library easy to navigate.
